Don't buy this if you are looking for a dual DVD player because it is not. Description states that it is a dual screen and dual DVD player, but it only plays one DVD between the 2 screens. Chatted with customer service and asked them to change the description, but looks like they have not yet. I've had them in our vehicle for just over a year now and can say that they are a very reliable, well put together and great looking piece of equipment... We have two children and travel often. Two boys, one being 2yo and the other being 6yo, have certainly put these two DVDs thru the wringer and I'm actually very very surprised that they've lasted this long. I figured that they'd have given in and quit the job.lol... Seriously though, I can recommend Ematic ED929D Dual 9" DVD player system to anyone who's looking for a system that'll last and look great doing the job... BTW, the pictures are pretty darned good on these that we have... Enjoy!!! Broke after 4 months - Ematic is a joke - Canopy warranty doesn't help., Verified Purchase This review is from: Ematic ED929D 9-Inch Dual Screen Portable DVD Player with Dual Monitors (Black) (Electronics) Bought this in June 2015 with the warranty from Canopy Protection. The unit just died and when we went to file the claim on the Canopy website, it says "You're in luck! The unit is still covered by the manufacturer warranty, call them at (888) 968-1985." When I called I got an arrogant kid on the phone telling me that the warranty expires after three (3) months as he was asking someone in the background what to say. He also stated for me to call Amazon. Pretty angry with the whole situation. I will update if there is a resolution but for now, I wouldn't buy from Ematic at all. There are better units at Best Buy for the same price and they play two (2) different DVDs. JUNK |
