4.0 out of 5 stars Rethink and map out your component wiring - Remote awkward at first, May 19, 2015

This replaced a GoVideo all metal cabinet and only wanted a player. My first reaction to the all plastic housing was "oh no!". It does not appear that I need the metal case as a grounding faraday cage once placed among my tower of equipment. 5.0 out of 5 stars Saved my marriage!, June 4, 2015

I made the mistake of getting rid of our DVD/VCR player when the DVD portion started malfunctioning. My husband had a fit because he no longer had a VCR to play his old sci-fi movies on. VCR's aren't the easiest thing to find these days but this may have saved my marriage! Easy set up.
